Englewood Family Outreach
Mission: To restore our communities in Englewood by proclaiming Christ, training in godliness, and empowering the vulnerable
We are a strategically small organization that has been serving the Englewood community on the south side of Chicago for over 30 years. We have intentionally built relationships with the people our society has most neglected and despised with the goal of restoring them to their communities of church, family, and neighbors. We do this through Bible studies, mentorship, discipleship, teaching trades, and other programs while purposefully focusing on cultivating these relationships. We are a 501(c)(3) organization funded by individuals, churches, and businesses who want to see the broken in Chicago redeemed.

Who We Are
Daniel Bair
Executive Director
Daniel (BA, Moody Bible Institute, 2005; MA, Wheaton Graduate School, 2009) serves as our executive director. He oversees the activities of the ministry, runs training on how to find relational ways to alleviate poverty and marry that to a Gospel presentation, and keeps our partners updated on the things the ministry is doing. If you would like information on how your church or group could receive this training, email: daniel@englewoodfamily.org.
His vision for Englewood is “to see Englewood become a neighborhood where those in the community want to stay and make it a better place.”
Daniel has served at Englewood Family Outreach since 2001.
Ronald Clay
Director of Operations
Ronald (BA in Psychology, University of St. Francis; MDIV candidate, Moody Theological Seminary) serves as our Program Director. Living in the community, he serves as a direct daily connection to our neighbors and oversees activities and events at Englewood Family Outreach.
Ronald's vision for Englewood is “to be a model of redemption and restoration available in Christ and the purpose life in Christ has to offer anyone who will turn to Him."
He began serving with us at Englewood Family Outreach in Spring 2020.
Dana Estrem
After-School Program Director
Ray Herring
Site Supervisor
Ray has been part of our ministry for several years. He recently accepted a role in working with us part time as a Site Supervisor. Part of this involves helping run activities at our location and keeping the center clean and ready for outreach.
Ray's vision for Englewood is “to be a place where young people can have fun and find purpose in the face of daily challenges."
Ray joined our team at Englewood Family Outreach in 2019.
Pray
We know our primary battle is spiritual and we need your prayers! Please join us in praying for Englewood! Pray that we would be faithful in boldly proclaiming the Gospel, the community would be transformed by the power of the Word, and the individuals we serve would be restored as fellow bearers of the image of God. Volunteer
We have volunteers serving on a weekly basis throughout the year. If you can commit to joining us once a week, we have a place for you (we even have a few volunteer opportunities from home).
We also host teams throughout the year for immersion trainings on poverty alleviation and Gospel proclamation. We would love to see your team here!
